FAQs

Is Ballot Buddies safe / legit?

Yep, and we appreciate that you’re checking! All of our volunteers are vetted before they’re allowed to work a route, and we’ve committed to deliver all ballots regardless of party affiliation.

Will this invalidate my vote?

Not at all! We already contacted the Election Commission to verify our service isn’t violating any laws or invalidating your vote.

Why can’t I just mail in my ballot?

You totally have that option, but unless you send it back right away, there’s no guarantee your ballot will get to the Election Commission in time to be counted. The USPS has reported slower mail processing times, which is why we are stepping up to help.

I have questions about why my ballot doesn’t show up at the Track My Ballot link.

Once we deliver your ballot to an official drop box, the best way to find out more information is to contact the Election Commission. With a record number of people voting by mail this year, it may take some time for your ballot to show as counted.

How do I know if my ballot is delivered?

You can track your ballot here or click ‘Track My Ballot’ at the top of this page. There are a record number of people voting by mail so it may take some time for tracking to appear—please be patient.

How do I get in touch with someone at Ballot Buddies?
